INTRODUCTION

These Terms of Service supplement Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), which governs your use of PayCycle. By using PayCycle, you agree to both Apple's Standard EULA and these supplemental terms.

If there is any conflict between these terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA will prevail.

1. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Subscription Model

PayCycle operates on an all-or-nothing subscription model. The free version provides full functionality for a maximum of 14 days. Full access to all features requires an active subscription.

Pricing

Subscription pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region. Current options are approximately $2.99 USD per month or $24.99 USD per year. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Free Trial

New subscribers may receive a free trial (7 days for monthly, 14 days for yearly). You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged through your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. To cancel, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > PayCycle > Cancel Subscription.

2. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION

Refund Policy

All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to all features until that time.

No Partial Refunds

If you cancel mid-billing period, you will not receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of that period.

3. YOUR DATA

Data Storage

All financial data you enter is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and iCloud account.

Data Retention

If your subscription lapses, your data remains stored in your iCloud account. However, you will lose access to premium features until you resubscribe. Your data is never deleted by us due to subscription status.

Backup Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We recommend ensuring iCloud backup is enabled on your device.

Data Deletion

You may delete your data at any time by removing the app or managing your iCloud storage. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

Personal Use

PayCycle is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use the app for business purposes without written permission.

One User Per Subscription

Each subscription is for individual use. Account sharing is not permitted.

Prohibited Activities

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the app. You may not attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or security measures.

5. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

No Guarantee of Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or that it will function without interruption or errors.

Updates and Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Beta Features

We may offer preview or beta features that are not yet fully tested. These features are provided 'as is' and may contain bugs or errors.

Third-Party Services

PayCycle relies on Apple's iCloud service for data storage. Service interruptions caused by Apple or other third parties are beyond our control.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Financial Decisions

PayCycle is a tool for tracking income and expenses. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from your use of the app.

Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in calculations and data presentation, we do not guarantee that the app is error-free. You are responsible for verifying all financial information.

Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of PayCycle shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the app and may cancel your subscription for a refund of any unused portion of your subscription period.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PayCycle shall be resolved in accordance with Apple's dispute resolution procedures outlined in the Apple EULA.

10. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

BY USING PAYCYCLE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND APPLE'S STANDARD EULA, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
